Big Miami Vice Admiral

Patrol the seas with ease in this large and fast remote control boat. The Big Miami Vice Admiral is a great RC speed boat for older children, teens and the young at heart. At 40 inches long and 11 inches wide, this remote control boat instantly assumes command of any body of water, be it a pond, pool, lake or river. Its large size makes best suited for a large water arena. It could also be used as an RC racing boat, reaching speeds up to 20 miles per hour, which is better than average.

With a special tunnel hull and dual type-550 motors, the Big Miami Vice Admiral boat will fly over the water. The tunnel hull is really two small hulls with the main deck of the boat connecting them, which results in less surface area and therefore less friction and higher speeds. Because it has dual propellers, you will have ultimate maneuverability, which means you will be able to take sharp turns with incredible ease. With its ability to dodge and spin, it could make up for much of what it lacks in speed, and you might be able to outmaneuver other boats in a race.

In addition, this radio controlled boat features manual rudder controls for quick adjustments. If you should run into trouble on the water and accidentally break one or both of the propellers, you can easily order an inexpensive replacement set from the manufacturer.

The Big Miami Vice Admiral features a large-capacity rechargeable battery that takes approximately four hours to fully charge. The long-range remote control allows you to navigate the speedboat up to 200 feet away without worrying about going out of range. We are a bit disappointed that this boat's operating range is among the shortest of the RC boats we tested.

The remote itself is a pistol-style grip that helps complete the illusion that you're careening across the water, hunting down criminals. The remote even comes with the required eight AA batteries (in addition to the boat's own rechargeable battery), so this boat truly is ready to go, right out of the box. The remote features two channels, so you won't have to worry about signal interference during races or when you're just cruising around the water with a friend.

However, the Big Miami Vice Admiral does not receive full marks for its accessories and supplies. There is no boat stand to display the boat on a shelf or table while it is not in use. There are no boat decals either, which would allow you to add a personalized touch to this RC boat.

This RC electric boat comes with a 30-day warranty. This warranty provides a decent amount of time for you to test the boat. It also provides enough time to ensure that all of the pieces work correctly and that there is no major problem with the boat.

Whether you're 10 years old or 50, this boat is an excellent investment for fun or a hobby. If you live somewhere with easy access to a large body of water, such as a lake or river, Big Miami Vice Admiral RC Speedboat will have even more fun to offer. We would have liked to see more accessories included, such as a display stand and extra propellers, and we were disappointed with the limited operating range. Still, the Big Miami Vice Admiral performs well and is an excellent source of entertainment.
